About
Newcomer Education Alliance
Newcomer Education Alliance helps immigrants adapt to life in the United States through free education and practical guidance: how everyday systems work, what rights and protections newcomers have, and how to find the local programs and resources available to them.
Newcomer Education Alliance is a nonprofit founded in Illinois in 2026 to help immigrants adapt to life in the United States. The first years after arrival bring a long list of decisions, and much of what a newcomer needs to know is hard to find and easy to get wrong.
We offer free education and practical guidance: how everyday systems work, what rights and protections newcomers have, and how to find the local programs and resources available to them. Our workshops and webinars are held online, so anyone in the country can take part, and invited guest speakers share what they know as volunteers.
We start with Russian-speaking immigrants and plan to offer programs in English as they grow. Enrollment is open to anyone, and every program is free.
Newcomer Education Alliance is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.
